So OneEye made an opinion post about the DH, so I figured, "hey, why not?" I'll post mine, so maybe we can all stop arguing.

So the Dwarven Hammer was formed during the Brickton/Grove war because Lord Willakers vowed that we would fight Brickton if they attacked the Grove. The District was filled at the time, and we were all very eager to finally have some district wars.

For our side in the conflict, this went very well, we were ridiculously organized, and kept our people in check for the most part, I think we only had 1 or 2 people at most who caused any "ooc:" issues and these were very minor at that. When the conflict ended, Rob said in a video that some people took things to far and ruined it for everyone else (We later concluded that it likely wasn't our people who caused problems).

Due to this, there has been no major RP wars between districts since, so the DH has just been sitting on its hands till something crazy happens, (like the Great Tree bursting into flames) unfortunately, the Lords lost their interest for awhile, and many people likewise, lost theirs.

So now we come to more recent events, Lords are slowing starting to do things again, and OneEye did a rebellion that brought many of us back to try and keep our system from falling apart. The rebellion was good in that it brought many of us back to the server, but then it started to drag on, and was starting some arguments. Xeno thankfully decided to end it, and said that the rebellion was over.

So now that's ^{^} all said and done, some of us started to look for more RP we can do to keep this spark going. So now we've started doing DH stuff again, we've had two meeting regarding it, adjusted it for its now smaller size, and Mbokn had us set up a patrol route for DH volunteers.

However... now out of nowhere, some people within the district are telling us the Dwarven Hammer doesn't exist anymore, that its a dead group and doesn't matter. So now I want to know, how does the Dwarven Hammer becoming active again, negatively affect any of us? It has only ever served to provide good fun RP for the community (Provided there's something to do), so why try and stop that?

Look at the potential for RP events we have right now, there's former rebels in the north, a baby dragon on the sewage plant, and we have a fun server. With the fun server, we can host events with other districts, or make a mock version of Dong Dank, and defend the walls from Elves or undead. With so much potential for things to do, we would be fools to give up DH RP now.
