Gold Goblets Requiring Coal/Coke?

I'm trying to smith a buttload of gold goblets for my golden dining hall, but I keep getting an alert about not having coal for making them. When I look at the con[t]ents of my magma forges, I see a bunch of coal goblets, but none made out of gold. I'm running v43.02. Could this be a bug in the reactions files?

EDIT: this is quite strange. The substitution of coal for gold only occurs when I set up a job for Gold Goblets through the manager screen. Going to the forge directly and adding the task manually works just fine; I get three gold goblets....
