So I had a forgotten beast (actually two in short succesion with a siege thrown in for FUN) which had "Beware it's blood"

Now I don't know the appropriate way to handle a blood syndrom FB, but I send my military in which chopped of it's head

I send most of them through my dwarven bathtub to rinse the FB blood off, which apparently causes blistering

Some dwarfs got blisters, went to the hospital, got diagnosed but get no treatment, so I assume it's harmless?

The problem though, somehow my entire free roaming animal populace is dying to the blisters and paralysis.
Is this because they walk through the dwarven bathtub?
I thought that they'd have to be covered in the stuff for it to take effect?

If so, how do I properly clean up the FB blood and what should I do with it's remains?
