How do you organize your collection?

I wanted to ask this question to see what you guys have to say. Do you alphabetize them, sort them by genre, or sort them by format? Or do you just stick them on your shelf all willy nilly? I'm interested on how you guys do it because I really can't decide which way to sort them in a way that satisfies me and feels cohesive.
