I feel bamboozled I only figured out Dutch have Jenever (new and old aged) which is way better than your typical vodka and whiskey. I've had rakija (Balkan) as well which I've loved and I will treasure, plum and honey ones especially.
I know it's taboo to teach your kids about alcohol, but it's a bit of a shame when you learn at older age that some type of drinks are very much culture.
The exact ones I'm talking about are: Hooghoudt Jonge Dubbele Graanjenever, Ketel 1 Signature Blend, Bols Corenwyn. Going from cheap to amazing / more expensive. I can tell you the Bols one is beyond amazing. But all are good.
I found atleast one weakness for a italian drink aswell found this one called Julia Invecchiata - Grappa it's very tasty, like drinking enriched wine.
Just remember, you can't drink the whole bottle in one sitting. Don't drink alone if you can avoid it.
There is no reason to go blackout and get drunk and ruining parts of your life if you can avoid it, so please be very careful with these kind of drinks. They are no joke.
