Post Body

Hi there! I have a player who is playing a Delereum Soul Sorcerer from the Sebastian Crowe's Guide playtest, and one of the things I've been wondering is if she is meant to have access to the Dungeons of Drakkenheim Contaminated spells. There's a sidebar that's written in the module that the contaminated spells aren't meant to be available to players at the offset of the campaign, so that is what's giving me pause to just give these to her carte blanche. Every other caster would have to study and work to learn them. What do you guys think? Does the game break considerable if I just let her have access to train these spells right away? Or should I have her witness them, then be able to study them? Open to hearing opinions on the matter, haven't gotten a straight answer from the discord or the Dudes.
