What is the perfect Dungeon Defenders part for a 4-Person LAN?

Me and my friends gonna have a nostalgic revival soon doing a real LAN party at on of our houses.

I saw the recommendation online to play DD with 4 players, had a look at it and it seems amazing, exactly what my friends and I like.

However, I see there are several parts...DD1, DD2, DD redux, DD awakened ... I'm not sure which one we should try. What is the best part FOR THIS SPECIFIC OCCURRENCE!! not for playing online hundreds of hours but for meeting up and play around 8-10 hours with friends?

Price is not an important factor (I've seen part 2 is free)
