Getting good pets other than giraffes?? Man these titles have to be real long

Hi everyone, I am trying to farm some pets other than giraffes, all my characters now have trans giraffes and Iām looking to get some rocks/cats. But no matter what I seem to try all the pets I get dropped other than giraffes are just common and trash! I have been trying to farm a rock for about 2 days now and have gotten about 15 in total. Non of them where better than common! Iām playing NMHC survival and just not getting good drops. Am I doing something wrong? Or just getting shafted by RNG?
