Just received the great dumbphone, purchased new from Amazon. I'm in Canada on Eastlink network.

Confirmed with tech it's a compatible phone. SIM card in, works for a short period with data then disconnects entirely. Have to use a roaming networks (Bell in this case) but am only able to intermittently recieve texts. Can't make calls and can only occasionally receive calls.

Dig a bit, apparently phone is not unlocked (per settings). Call T-Mobile, they advise it's not their phone so they can't unlock it. At some point it was their phone as its full of their logos and apps.

Anyone else buy this phone and in a similar situation? I'll have to return it. Otherwise I'm head over heals and was trying to sell my S23 Ultra.
