hello, I currently live in korea with my iphone on a korean carrier. I'm moving back to the east coast soon and dont want my smart phone anymore. Currently, my mom has kept my number on the family verizon plan, so I can retain my number when I return to the states.

So what do I need to look for if I want to keep the number and get a dumb phone? I'm okay with switching carriers, or staying with verizon, either is okay, as long as I can choose a phone. Should I buy an unlocked phone on amazon? I genuinely don't know how to buy a phone as I have always bought from brick and mortar verizon stores. Any and all help is appreciated! priority number one is keeping my old number, which is still being reserved on my family's plan!
