Howdy y’all. You’ve probably seen me plug the Twin Ports Horror Society around here before, but just in case you haven’t:
TPHS is Facebook group that’s currently at nearly 1000 (992 as of this posting) members, for people in and around the Twin Ports to discuss all things horror-related (movies, tv shows, books, video games, Halloween, etc etc). Other than an awesome way to meet a lot of really cool, laid back people, it’s also a way to engage in various events around the area — some put on by the group, others just being attended by group members. We’ve done a bunch of meetups, private double features at the Zinema, and these past couple months have been really busy for attending local haunts (The Haunted Shack, The Haunted Ship, Hellwig Hollow, etc.), plus we had our second annual Ghoulish Gala.
Anyways, if you’re interested, you can join the Facebook group — we’d be happy to have ya! Alternatively, there is a Discord for people who don’t do Facebook or are just looking for a different way to engage and stay up to date on events. The Facebook group is still going to be the main location, but I figured this might allow for an alternative to reach more people. If you have any questions about any of it — the Facebook, the Discord, or just the group in general — feel free to ask.
Tl;dr Twin Ports Horror Society Facebook group (long-established) and Discord (newer). Join either or both if you’re interested!
