Getting Involved in ML Research
Post Body

Heyo sorry if there has been a similar post about this before!

I am a current sophomore who is really interested in doing some ML Research and am not too sure about how I should go about getting an opportunity. I know that Muser and Duke Listings has a few opportunities and I have applied to them but I was wondering what is the best way to contact professors. I am not too sure how to email them and at times I cannot seem to find the research that they are currently conducting and only their interests. On top of that, I haven't taken any high-level CS or Math classes (only taken 200 level math and CS classes) and am not sure if professors will let someone with no advanced classes into their research projects.

I appreciate all the advice I can get thanks

Edit: Thank you so much for the suggestions and I am really sorry about the late reply! It been tough trying to get any work done and also got busy with moving and all
