Hello everyone,

I was arrested for DWI in NYS on Saturday and refused the chemical testing. I know I will need to go to a refusal hearing and what the consequences are. I already have a lawyer lined up.

I’ve been checking the mail every day waiting for a letter from the dmv but haven’t got one yet. I realized a couple hours ago that my mailing address was wrong. I changed to P.O. Box last year and somehow missed updating the dmv. I just updated the mailing address online.

So my question is for anyone who’s gone through this in NYS - how quickly did you receive a letter about the hearing? I’m worried the letter was returned and I may miss the hearing if it’s scheduled soon.
