IOP program woes
Post Body

as a part of the fallout of me getting a DUI, I am required to complete an intensive outpatient program 3 days a week, 3 hour long classes, for a few weeks, as I'm sure many of you are having to deal with. I am determined to complete the program, but the program with the clinic I was assigned just does not work with my lifestyle at all. I work 9-5 every weekday, but the only options I was given were 9:30 am and 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. They say I have a 15 minute window that allows me to be a little late, but that doesn't help either, because 1. my work is 19 minutes away to begin with and 2. I don't even always leave at 5 sharp anyway. When I was being evaluated I was told that they would be "flexible" with me but that has not been the case yet. they enrolled me in the program despite my concerns and I've already missed 2 classes. I absolutely cannot miss work or leave work early unless I want to put my job at risk. Has anyone else dealed with what I'm going through right now? I emailed the court to see if they could reach out and make an exception for me, or set me up with a different clinic. Haven't heard anything back yet. It really sucks, I just want to get it over with and I'm not trying to get in trouble. I'm also not trying to lose what I consider a good job and fuck myself over in life
