Offer received, reasonable sounding or unreasonable?
Post Body

Today, I just got word from my lawyer who has yet to show me he cares about my outcome. This is the first offer submitted by the prosecution.

12 months probation 2 days in jail 6 months treatment $1,200 in fines.

Charged with a physical control dui (was pulled over when approached but not fully off the roadway) and blew .28. No priors, clean driving record and low alch evaluation score (showed misuse in instance and not addiction).

Should I take this, or switch lawyers to see if I can get a better deal. Keep in mind, me and this lawyer have not seen eye to eye and the other one I’m looking at is very attentive.

Edit: three month’s license suspension and interlock for a year.
