Hi there. I've been playing the game for a year now (started October 2016), and I've gotten to Diamond three seasons in a row. I've accomplished quite a bit, but I still know there's a lot of room for improvement. When I first started, I felt like every game was a new world to discover. I was enjoying every second, every play, every new card or synergy that I encountered on the ladder. But as time passed, and I learned more and more about the game... that "learning mindset" disappeared. Instead, now I feel disappointed when I lose (and I lose a lot more than when I started as a rank 30), because I feel like I should be applying all the knowledge I aquired in the months I spent playing. And maybe I'm doing it? But it still feels like I could do more. And I still absolutely adore this game and I want to play it for as long as I can, so I'd like to enjoy winning and losing like I did before.
My question is: is it possible to regain that "learning mindset" that was replaced with this "winning mindset"? And if it is, how do I do that?
Edit: Wow this post blew up with responses in these days. Thank you very much, guys, I'll try to read everything and give some responses, and I'll definitely try to put some of your advice into practice. You rock!
