Post Body

I’ll start by saying yes I’ve learned my lesson and yes I was being extremely stupid.

Just over a year ago, for absolutely no reason I got completely reckless with my spending. Had rent issues and had to top that up too. Next minute I’ve racked up 70K of credit card debt.

I had a bounced cheque in Aug 23 which still shows. I’m trying to get a loan from my CBD bank as that’s where my salary goes into to pay off my credit cards to 1. lower my monthly repayments and 2. Close my credit cards down.

CBD have said my score is like 20 points off being high enough to get a loan. What options do I have people? I need to get this loan to pay my credit cards off otherwise I’ll be screwed when my rent is due in a few months time. Very embarrassed about this situation but trying all I can to ease the pain. Salary is 15K if that helps.
