Hi everyone, I’m new here so I hope this is allowed… I am gathering quotes to insulate and install drywall to my 10x12 shed and they’re all coming in a lot higher than I expected. I don’t know if people are trying to take advantage or if I’m underestimating how much time and money this should take… for reference I’m a female based in Los Angeles. The quotes include materials, fiberglass insulation install, drywall install, taping, mudding, and sanding. No priming, painting, or trim is included in the quotes. First quote was $5,000 and they said it will take 2 men a full week. Second quote was $8,000. Including a video for reference. We have since added electrical and recessed lighting in the ceiling so perhaps that complicates the process? Please don’t judge my yard. Thanks in advance for your help!
Actually I have questions on the hackjob framing.
Can you explain further as a guy trying to learn more. Do you have to vent the walls too?
