Post Body

Hello all, new to Reddit so sorry if I miss any norms. My wife and I went to look at a home that we are thinking about purchasing. The backstory is that this home was sitting vacant for around 2 years and was recently put on the market, in the course of us looking around the home we ran across these gaps in the walls and ceilings throughout the house. They seem pretty large and long and the sellers agent said that they were not signs of structural damage just environment. I also noticed that the back deck has joists that are coming apart. All these pieces put together make me think that there may be an issue with the foundation where it is potentially sinking but wasn’t sure and would appreciate any advice you can give from experience.
