How should I go about creating a super compact home-office desk midi kit?

Post Body

I live in a big city and have a tiny bedroom. During stay at home I've caught myself airdrumming while listening to music and working at my computer desk in my 10.5x10 bedroom.

I want to create a compact and easy to assemble/disassemble midi drum set. My idea is that I could work my day job with Ableton Live active in the background and have the compact midi kit ready to go in case I get that spurt of drummer's ADD where I need to pick up sticks and drum. Thinking I can mount the kit to my desk

I already have a Roland PD-8, and a Roland BT-1 and some LP Percussion mounts which I think I can mount to my desk - although open to new mounts.

I'm also thinking about getting a Yamaha KP65 and a Yamaha KU100 but I'm open to other options that are either better in quality or better suited for my needs and space requirements or less expensive.

I also have an SPDSX but not enough space on my desk to utilize it. I have plenty of cymbal stands and normal hardware though lack on space, so only want to use some hardware if I absolutely need to. Would prefer mounts.

I'm open to spending a decent amount of money - probably up to $200ish

Would love everyone's thoughts and opinions on how best to accomplish this!

Thanks
