Laptop suggestions for recording V-Drums.

I have recently purchased a set of TD-11-KVS Roland V-Drums.

I don't have much experience recording, so I'm not really sure what is required?

Also not sure if this is possible, but if I was to use music editing software (I'm only really familiar with FL studio) would it be possible to add additional samples through use of MIDI?

Keep in mind this is all new to me so I don't really know what I'm talking about :P

I know that Mac's are great for recording but not so much for gaming, and I'd like to be able to do some gaming on this laptop as well.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
