a big thing for me is not being able to practice at full volume often. i can play for hours every day but i have to mute my kit with blankets and books. i have seen a few videos of people parking on off road parts near freeways and practicing drums.

is there anything stopping me from doing this regularly for 1-2 hours at a time? Is it illegal? I feel like a cop would give me a ticket or kick me out, and I can imagine some people driving by and calling the cops. what would stop me from doing this to practice drums at full volume frequently?

i know some people will probably bring up safety like getting hit by a car which I think is thinking the worst. lets say you are behind some roadblocks/guardrails.
