Need help convincing my parents to let me do Drum Corps

My dad is already upset with me for quitting cross country this year for marching band (I'm a junior in HS). He'll have a problem with the cost and time needed for Drum Corps. But I love marching band to death, and I want to continue it. How can I convince him to let me do it?
For those interested, I marched bass 4 this season (my first season).
