Wait, is SCV really done for?
Post Body
Any tax people (or accountants, or whatever) that know this stuff well enough to explain it off hand:
How bad is the situation, and what is the likely hood of SCV 2024? If not then, will they ever come back? This is genuinely heartbreaking for me.
I thought that they were on the upswing, but I haven’t been paying any attention to the timeline, and I don’t really understand this stuff.
Please make this make sense so I know who to blame for my favorite corps folding

The number of times I've said this out loud is unknowable. Anybody wanting that job shouldn't have it. Anybody who says "yes" the first time they're asked to run one of these orgs shouldn't be allowed to do so or they'd be smart enough to say "no".
