Hello everyone I'm writing a small book about active plants and I have a long list containing many funny vegetables and their effects. I'll write here what I've put in it for now.
- Datura/Angels' Trumpets
- Morning Glories
- San Pedro
- Peyote
- Bolivian Torch
- HBWR
- Poppies
- Weed
- Salvia D.
- Coleus (effects still uncertain)
- Ayahuasca components
- Mugwort
- Kratom
- Mimosa Hostilis
- Mulberries and yeah this is it.
Now the question is, do you guys know any other plant which is validly active but not really looked at? Thank you for the attention.
There are so many plants we keep finding randomly have alkaloids, if you go through by species, the list is virtually endless.
Khat and ephedra are two that come to mind immediately.
Take a look at epipactis helleborine if you want a mind fuck.

My point being if you go down that rabbit hole you'll find some pretty crazy things. I vaguely remember reading about a plant that could biosynthesis methamphetamine. A lot of these claims only have a few sources and often date back considerably so I don't know how much you could trust them.
It'd certainly make for some interesting graduate research with access to a lab and analytical tools.
