Hey. My kratom has been in the ground for about for about 2 1/2 years maybe? About two metres tall, was looking good. I'm probably at about the limit of its range; winter makes many of the leaves drop. This winter though, she also got smashed by scale and what I think is / was sooty black mould. The scale and mould are now under control I think and I'm providing hypercare with seasol. Can I tip prune her to make her bush out and promote new growth? She mostly only has leaves at the tips of branches right now so am very hesitant to remove much of anything without advice. Any other advice? Also, if you have an easy solution to remove the "dead" mould that would be good too. The stuff just flaked off the leaves after treatment but along the branches required vigorous scrubbing with a cloth. After two "scrubs" there is still some present, do I just keep doing it? Thanks
