A couple of questions and some help
Post Body

So I’ve been dropshipping for some time and opened a new store that’s pulled in a total of 5k in total the past 20 days. I’m getting a TikTok agency account sorted soon so I can advertise worldwide and I would love some help on a couple of things

  1. Product Research I use shop hunter to look at other stores and products that are starting to sell well and I might be able to advertise better. Finding products is my weak point and was wondering if I should be using Autods to look at products minea or just go through TikTok and hope for the best. Any recommendations for product research sites and or apps is appreciated

  2. Running Ads I advertise on TikTok and have used Facebook in the past but had no luck with Facebook ads. I run tests to see if my ads are doing well and what ones can possibly get people to convert. I have trouble scaling ads and ad groups and since at the moment I can only advertise in Australia I’m pretty limited to how many people I can advertise to but that will change soon since I mentioned before I’m getting a agency account sorted out in the next 24hours. Just having a ad strategy is pretty hard for me and still need to learn how to do it so any recommendations on people that I can learn off or anything online that I can study upon to improve my ads and ad spending.

  3. Web design and Product Pages>Landing Pages

On my ads I link my product page for the product I’m advertising and I’m only using the refresh theme at the moment no coding done and it’s quite basic. I’ve used gempages before to build a better looking page and I hate to admit it but I’ve lost my touch on web design. And using gempages can be abit challenging for me so any recommendations on apps I should use to build pages on is appreciated.

  1. Suppliers

I’m currently using dsers to fulfill orders manually and to be honest. It pretty sugar honey ice tea. And I’ve tried using autods before but when I try to buy the product it takes me to the TikTok shop and since TikTok agency hates Australia we don’t have TikTok shop yet. Pretty stupid imo but just gonna have to work around it. Zendrop I’ve tried maybe once or twice but could never get the hang of it but am willing to use it if it’s better quality for my customers and also offers convenience for me and my customers. Any recommendations for suppliers are welcomed.

Last but not least

  1. Pricing on products and ad creatives

This one’s gonna be a two in one so here we go. Pricing can be abit harsh and i understand most people only get roughly 20-40% of totally profit when dropshipping. But im not to sure how I can tell if my product is overpriced or underpriced. For example I sell a product for 50$ and have to use 30$ on buying the product and shipping it out. But the ad costs can pretty much restrict on how I price my products aswell. So if I have to spend 100$ a day on running ads that means I would have to get atleast 5 sales to break even on ad spend and fulfilling products and then after that I’m left with 0$ and a broken soul. So basically my question is how much profit should I be looking for when selling a product. It doesn’t have to be an accurate amount but I would like to have a decent idea on how much profit I should be wanting to pull to be able to run my business as smooth as possible. And ad creatives aswell I hate to admit it but I steal other people’s ads and run them as my own. I have used CapCut a couple of times to change the ads a little but haven’t really made a ad myself or tried editing a video to fully to have a unique creative. I know there’s people that will make creatives for you but I’m looking to not spend money on that and would much rather learn the skill since I believe it has much more value than just paying someone else to do it for you. Any suggestions on places to get certain ads off so I can either run them myself or use them to make unique creatives to hopefully spice up the market abit more.

Any recommendations and or suggestions are welcome but I’m not going to tolerate rude or hateful people in general. Criticism is welcome and I’ll say it again. Any help on these subjects are welcome.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk :)
