Is drop shipping focused on Newegg a good strategy?

I have been wanting to start a drop shipping company for a while now. I know my cut of the profits would be lower since Newegg and other markets would take a cut. But those are generally trusted sites and as long as I have competitive prices I should still get sales correct?

I do plan on having my own website. Looking to focus mostly on electronics, accessories and clothing.

I originally wanted to use Wordpress but that seems like it requires more work. Now I’m leaning more toward Shopify.

Any tips for someone looking to just start out?
