This year I decided to make my loved ones do some homework to celebrate me! I presented on the gay agenda: should it be taught in schools? And my loved ones’ topics were Bodega Bossmen, the Backbone of Society; CIA Missions: Two Truths and a Lie edition; Why Family Systems Theory is the Best Family Theory; and The US Customary System needs to be Put to Rest. I had the best time and highly recommend it!
That’s extremely fair! I did not give anyone a prompt, though I sent the link to a thread on this subreddit (to my sister who had never seen the show) where people listed potential topics to give inspiration and told her she could pick from the list or choose her own!
Oh that’s excellent! As a Minnesotan I would be very interested to hear your takes on Canadian fast food. Babies are barely human is such a funny concept 😂😂😂
Hell yeah! My bff is a scientist and she said she had to be true to herself. Very good points but she refused to concede Fahrenheit which made for a lively discussion!
Nailed it! She’s a family communications PhD but also my sister so it was nice to have a little bit of the insight she has into our family’s dynamics 😅
Hell yeah!!! That presentation sounds right up my alley!
I would love to be friends! If you’re ever in Minneapolis hit me up! I’m thankful I didn’t need to convince anyone too hard because the ones that don’t “get” dropout are academic enough to enjoy presenting 😂

Thanks for the rec! What would your topic be if you had to present in a week? Needlessly hard stances are so much fun
