I've seen a few other posts asking similar things, but none seem to quite answer my question. I'm going backpacking soon and want to get some nice FPV shots while I'm away. Something like a DJI Avata would be ideal, but that's way out of my price range.
I do already have a GoPro 11 Mini though, so I'm just looking for a super cheap setup (inc. controller and goggles) to attach it to. The mini weighs about 133g, although I might find some sort of case to keep it safer from crashes.
Ideally I want a kit that includes everythign I can just strap my GoPro to and fly, but price is a priority and I'm willing to do some building/souldering if needed.
My budget is really around £200, but I could maybe stretch that if I needed to. Is something like this even possible in that budget, inc. goggles? Would the Darwin BabyApe 2 or 2 pro be an option? Would it be cheaper/viable to use a screen instead of goggles?
And is it generally better to build or just buy a complete package? I'm not worried about racing or fpv feed quality, just want to get some nice swooping shots. Being compact and easy to transport would also be a big plus.
