I hit the highway barrier HARD while driving in the rain. Why do I have not a single scratch on my car?
Post Body

Left lane, going 70 mph, road slick from rain. Hit a puddle (IIRC), and even while braking fast, I hit the highway barrier hard and swerve into traffic. All cars miss me and I park on the right shoulder.

I'm expecting serious body damage. But I get out the car, and I see I only lost the trim around my left headlight, easily replaceable. I have no damage to the side or front, not even a scratch.

How is that possible?
