Stars and Stones

In expression "Stars and Stones" gets thrown around a lot in the book. We know Harry is Starborn, which has to do with celestial alignments, likely the referred to "Stars", but then what are the Stones? A part of me wonders if it's a nod to St. Peter, who was the "rock" Christ built his church on, but I wonder if it's something we haven't seen yet.
