Does anyone else think the premise of this new book (Twelve Months) could easily just be Mortimer demanding Harry help out with all these new ghosts roaming around and the potential new necromancers drawn to the area, along with the people of Chicago calling in their favours. No overall big bad with a mystery to solve but plenty of smaller ones meaning Harry isn't really being taxed to heavily like in previous books
I think it would be a really easy way to give us a chill book after an action packed one and would give Harry plenty of time to reflect on all his trauma and loss which is meant to be the point of the book. Show us how he is coping with the Alphas and now the White court as his ally and see just what it means now for Harry to be the Wizard of Chicago. Maybe even assign a new wielder of Amoracchius?
