So I've read a fair chunk of the series, but i probably finished the last book about 5 years ago or so. It just took so long for the next one to come out that I'd forgotten all names and lore, so couldn't continue. I have two young kids so reading a lot is hard (unless it's Julia Donaldson).

My question is, is the series ended or close to ending? If so I'd like to restart the whole series and just binge it. What i don't want to do is read it all again only to then have another super long break between books and again forget what's going on.

My youngest starts school next year so that'll give me more timr to read, but I'm happy waiting a few years if the last book is close.
