So I'm still looking at alternate controller options, and am having a bit of a back and forth between what option to go with and want some last minute thoughts from people before purchase
StrikerDC Wired: So I know there have been issues for some with the triggers breaking and the joystick being too loose or not going all the way forward or whatever. From what I've found online, it's that these issues may have been fixed in their V2 editions of these controllers. The only issue is I have no idea how to tell if it's V1 or V2 (anyone have any thoughts on this? whether it be difference in packaging or if it says so on the back of the controller or something?) Anyways, despite the issues, this seems to be my preferred option to go right now? I do like the variety of colors and I like being able to still plug in my VMU and 4X Memory Pack directly into the controller. But idk if I should if there's still issues with this controller. I'm hoping to hear from someone whether later versions of this controller had in fact been fixed or not
StrikerDC Wireless: Now, from what I've heard (for the most part anyway) the Wireless is the better of these two options so far. But I have heard some people have issues either with analog stick deadzones or the controller not charging, turning on and off and have seen some people say it won't work with GDEmu or issues registering in the controller one port with GDEmu. (Again, hoping people who own this can clarify) The thing for me is again, can't plug the VMU directly into the controller. It wouldn't be such an issue except for one thing: Seaman. How the hell do I play this game if I can't plug in the microphone? Again, would appreciate thoughts
Brook Wingman: The third best option I can find is using a brook wingman, which luckily comes with a VMU built in. Although, same issue as above. Seaman. How do I play with no microphone? Moreso, even other games like Sonic Shuffle or NFL 2K where the screen really comes into play.
So I wanna hear thoughts from people who have used any or all of the options above. Has the StrikerDC Wired been fixed? How is the wireless StrikerDC compare? Any issues I should be made aware of for either or especially, the latter. Thoughts on how to play games that require the VMU (or other peripherals for that matter) Same with Brook Wingman. Any advice and words of wisdom are appreciated. Thank you
