Do some games just not work with gdemu?

I have a Dreamcast with a gdemu and nearly every game installed, all but two. I've tried multiple times from multiple sources, seemingly confirmed to be working ones as well and they just still don't play. Is this a known issue with the gdemu that some games just won't work with it?
The games in particular are NFL blitz 00 and the Grinch. Just kind of irritating not having a full collection is all
