Sic , new induction cup saves the day?
Post Body

Hey guys, Just wanted to throw this question out there and see if anyone else had this issue smh. I have had a Dr. dabber switch since about last November and then in January of this year I got the sic insert, I had a battery failure in between the time of me ordering the silicon carbide insert and receiving it , I assumed the sic insert was not performing correctly, and then had a buddy bring his switch over ! Yup the sic worked like a charm , got a new battery and bam we should be golden right ?! Well no , I was either having completely burnt hits , or puddles like I’ve heard people complaining about . Now , I dab between 500-600 degrees top to bottom of light blue I believe ; and today I was attempting to use this thing like i usually do from time to time , and with the sic dish ! I have resorted to the normal ceramic dish for ease of use , I found a new titanium insert and the thing hits like it’s night and day ? All the flavor , needed to turn down the temps actually too dense of smoke for my liking which is never happened until I first got the unit months ago , on someone else’s device with the sic dish . And yes , I’m in crystal mode and yes I’ve varied size of dabs , lowered temps and everything else in between but getting or finding a new titanium dish seemed to do the trick , I’m wondering if you’re not supposed to heat clean those 😰!
