I wanna see your personification of life and death. Idc off it’s the same as someone else’s or as simple as a rune or even just a symbol you thought of. I personally find death beautiful, not saying it can’t be ugly or unwanted but to me a natural death is the purest part of life, it’s what connects us all. Because no matter the creed or beliefs the race or religion death comes for us all. It’s the only thing in this life that we are promised. I know not everyone has the same views and I appreciate that, after all diversity is the spice of life and that’s what makes life beautiful to me, the cultural difference the vastly different beliefs and the ones that are similar but still unique. I am a heathen, my father is a baptist, I am good friends with a catholic. I’m engaged to a woman who will soon birth my first child, my cousin is a lesbian, and I’ve befriended several people who’s lifestyles vastly differ. And to me that open mindedness and acceptance is what the world needs, but you cannot be open to one lifestyle but closed to another. Universal acceptance, just like death which does not discriminate. So let’s see it fellow artists how do you see death and how do you see life ? I will work my sketches out and post them as well.
r/BlacksheepChallenge I created a subreddit just for prompts like this I will start posting a weekly prompt every Monday starting next week. For right now I ask that we only post in regards to the active prompt so I can filter through the posts easier, after the community grows I will implement a day of the week for other members to host prompts of their own as well as feedback Friday’s where members will be encouraged to post their personal pieces or works in progress to have fellow artists offer critique and suggestions as well as advice. Please join the subreddit as this is something that could inspire future artists as well as help those who are having a mental block.
