I'm a casual viewer (last season I watched in full was S14, skimmed the first 7 seasons) but I am really enjoying this season. Though there may be some Quite obvious rigor mortis going on for the most part it is developing fairly and the queens all bring something interesting.
My question for the more seasoned viewers is how do you think this season measures up to recent and/or earlier seasons? I'm talking about the quality of the queens (talents, runway, etc.), storylines/stakes, production manipulation, etc. The game mechanics also—for instance I'm not very fond of how they reintroduced immunity.
I would love to hear your thoughts; write a dissertation if you are inspired to do so. Thanks!
