Just completed the Entrusted Future quest; obviously some shit went down.

My guess is no, but is there any way to actually prevent the deaths of Mysial and Iris? Mysial seems pretty story-focal, but Iris almost came off as a 'player-choice' scenario considering the fight; like doing something in the fight might change the outcome.

Again, 95% she's pre-ordained to die here, specially since the new trailer has that line drop at the end with her name, but considering Dragon's Dogma original pulled this shit with Mercedes VS. Julian, I thought there might be a slight chance this is a similar scenario (though Leo apparently does 0 damage to her the entire fight...thanks dude).

If not, consider this me bitching uselessly about the fact that the game essentially forced me to murder a major character, then proceeded to try to guilt trip me about it with her death scene. =P
