Oh boy this is easily among my top favorite Anime!
Damn now I want that sequel series that I heard was allegedly supposed to be a thing at some point. Since they left this so open to a sequel with Dai being alive out there somewhere when they thought he might have died.
But I wonder now since there’s a prequel series about Avan’s journey that they will end up picking up on doing the sequel story.
I’d love for Akira Toriyama to be involved in that but it’s wishful thinking as he’s probably busy enough as it is and that was probably why he wasn’t involved with The Adventure of Dai to begin with when the manga was created so long ago.
