This is just wild speculation, but I'm starting to think that the next arc in Super might feature the whole squad as an active component, maybe even to a greater extent than we ever saw in Z. Right now, Frieza is on a different level from any other U7 mortals, except maybe Broly but he's kind of nerfed by the fact that he can't control his power. And now Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo are all at really comparable levels.

I think that we're gonna see the whole squad (the New Z Fighters??) throwing down with Frieza for a while. Probably after that the arc will make some kind of pivot, maybe reveal a new threat.
