Post Body

I just installed and played through part of the opening plot to Dragon Age: Origins for the first time. I've never played any of the DA games before. I have to say, this is one heck of a solid RPG, and I'm not easily impressed.

The reason that I'm posting here is that I have a question: How can I know which buffs/debuffs stack? I've done some searching online and all I've found is half a dozen forums posts asking the same thing with no clear answers. I'm playing a Mage for my first run through, and I took Disorient and Weakness as my first two spells, because I always play combat mages in games and decided I would play a debuff mage instead this time. Immediately I realized I have no way to know if the debuffs are applied or if they stack with each other. I've read some of the DA wiki information on spells, but I haven't found anything that answers my question.

Any information would be highly appreciated.
