You’re telling me in a world full of complex interesting characters we ONCE AGAIN have to be around this vanilla milquetoast American-accented bland character whose only identifiable trait is he has a weapon with a human name?

Are we not past the “everyman” trope that’s crafted in a focus group to appeal to as many people as possible?
