I’m New to Sports Betting - Looking for MLB hedging info

I’m new to DraftKings and sports betting in general. I’m pretty much experimenting atm and just using what I can afford to lose. I’ve been building up winning, and betting just with my winnings now.

My question is on hedging and best methods. I have just been doing the moneyline bets. Betting on the slight underdog before the game or wait for the first run. Once the other team scores and the moneyline odds flip, I pace a hedge bet. Now I guarantee myself a net win between the two bets.

What are some better ways to hedge? TIA
