Hi all,

I just wanted to inform everyone of a community Meetup in London which will be doing a friendly inter-chain 'battle' event between Cosmos and Polkadot.

The purpose of this meetup is to compare and contrast Cosmos and PolkaDot, to get a deeper understanding of the concept of the 'Inter-chain' and discuss why Blockchains need to be interoperable. We will also take a look at what each platform has to offer developers and explore potential use-cases. In the practical workshop session we will take a look at the Cosmos SDK and the Polkadot PoC-2. This purely about learning and the 'competitive' element is just a bit of fun to facilitate how we view each project.

The purpose of the BCDC is to give programmers interested in blockchain development a space to examine, explore and understand the wide variety of technologies.The BCDC combines the best elements of a meetup, a workshop and a hackerthon in a casual, collaborative and competitive environment.
