Long story short, I stupidly believed DoorDash support would reimburse me for a shop and deliver at Walgreens. My red card declined (no item substitution or changes… all items were in stock) despite it working perfectly fine for an order 30 mins prior. Support processed the reimbursement request incorrectly and I only got paid half of the money I spent… 3 separate calls totaling 2.5 hrs and their response is “we’ve submitted the request and it should be in your account.” Well you guessed it, it’s not there and escalating to a supervisor was absolutely useless. So I’m out of some money. Just a warning to be careful if you’re considering it, that high dollar order payout may not be worth it in the end.
