It is NOT unreasonable to expect the dasher to make a drink, or have a hotbag when they enter the store. Obviously there is a line between what you are responsible for doing and what’s outlandish. Part of being an independent contractor is having to adjust and work around different jobs in order to make sure you get paid. Not every single merchant is going to be perfect, just like you, the dasher, are not perfect. Grow up, and act like you have worked a job before.
