Last delivery of the night was a double order for Sonic and Subway, 3 miles for 17$? Heck yea.

I get to Subway cause it’s closer and pickup time is sooner. As soon as I walk in I get a rude ass greeting from who I can only assume to be the manager looking at me searching the pickup rack and he says “If you’re doordash you’re just gonna have to wait, I’m the only one here and in store customers come first.” I asked him how long because it was already pickup time and he said about 30 minutes.

I went back to my car and text the customer apologizing but letting them know their order wasn’t going to be ready for another half hour. I had planned on unassigning after that but she replied and was super nice and apologetic about it so now I feel bad and decide I’ll wait it out. 25 minutes come and go and finally the store is cleared of customers so I go back inside(I parked so I could watch the pickup rack but he never put anything on it). When I got inside he looked at me and told me the store was closed and they wouldn’t be doing anymore orders. I told him I was there earlier and that he told me to wait. He said they close at 9pm and it was now 9:05, so they would be canceling their dash orders and closing the store.

I was so pissed off. I am never taking orders from that Subway again.

to make matters worse my Sonic customer was now 30 minutes late and she wasn’t happy so I’m expecting a bad review.
