DD just ended my dash and cost me over half of my day!

I paused my dash to hit the restroom and get a drink. Took me MAYBE 20min to do that. I go to unpause, and it says my dash was over because I was paused longer than 35min! And now I can only schedule for two hours today instead of the SEVEN hours of work I still had ahead of me!
What the hell is this?!
